The work of the line and the black chalk fade that sculpts and models gives it a very strong presence. The architecture of the face is wonderfully rendered with the cheeks well modeled, the mouth fleshy, the eyebrows perfectly drawn. In addition, the admirable expressiveness of the eyes of the figure depicted gives this drawing a particular beauty.
Condition report: Small loss of material in the middle at the top and drawing slightly rubbed.
