This lovely small drawing formerly in the Vallardi collection was made by an artist from Parmigianino’s circle. It has inherited the great artist’s refinement and delicacy.

Inscribed on the back In. no 12540 on the center, no 94 and Parmigianino  upper right.

Pen and brown ink, brown wash. 

89 x 69 mm – 3,5 x 2,72 in.

Provenance – Giuseppe Vallardi, his mark partly cut lower left (Lugt 1223).

Condition report – Pasted on an old paper. Rubbed, spots, small losses on the right, loss compensation in the upper right corner.
