Pencil annotation « Paul Devos » on the back of the mount.
In the catalog of the sale after death of Desperet from June 7 to 13, 1865, lot 297 mentioned a drawing representing Two dog studies by Franz Snyders (two pencils on paper of color ) which could correspond to our sheet.
